Tappinese® Key is a revolutionary symbol language and software application designed to simplify the reading, writing, and recording of tap dance. Tappinese® Key is a visual representation based on the actions of the foot/feet necessary to accomplish specific tap movements. The symbols representing these movements are displayed by selecting a corresponding key on the keyboard.

Our software is practical for students, teachers, and choreographers alike:

• Students – provides a strong visual aide and practical support for the study of rhythms, movements, and common terminology of dance.

• Teachers – brings the literacy component to teaching dance in an educational environment. Supports rhythmic base, movement skills, and common terminology and provides a quick and easy way to create, record, and share dance.
